Dashboard

Analytics

See posting activity across your project and load engagement numbers for individual posts.

The dashboard has two kinds of analytics: a project-wide activity overview, and post analytics with engagement numbers fetched from each platform. Both are dashboard features; the public API doesn't expose analytics endpoints.

Activity overview

Open Posts → Analytics at https://social-publish-kappa.vercel.app/dashboard/posts/analytics and choose a range: Week, Month or 3 Months (the last 7, 30 or 90 days).

SectionWhat it shows
Total postsPosts scheduled within the range.
Top platformThe platform with the most targets.
Peak dayThe day with the most posts.
Posts per dayA daily chart, using your browser's time zone.
Posts by platformTargets per platform, with how many published and how many failed.

Posts are counted by their scheduled time, and a post sent to three platforms counts once in the post totals but once per platform in Posts by platform. The overview is computed from your Relaycast history and is free to view.

Post analytics

Open a post on the Posts page to see its engagement on every platform it was published to. Available metrics:

MetricMeaning
ImpressionsTimes the post was shown.
ViewsVideo plays or views, or reach where that's the closest metric a platform offers.
LikesLikes or reactions.
CommentsComments or replies.
SharesShares, reposts or retweets.
ClicksLink or post clicks.

Platforms report different subsets. A metric a platform doesn't provide shows as —, while a real zero shows as 0. If metrics can't be loaded for one platform (for example because the account needs reconnecting), that platform shows the reason and the others still load.

Loading and credits

Metrics are fetched from the platforms on demand, not continuously:

  • Load analytics fetches the latest numbers from every platform the post was published to. It costs 1 credit per load, for the whole post, and asks you to confirm first.
  • If nothing could be fetched from any platform, the credit is refunded.
  • The last loaded numbers are saved and shown for free whenever you open the post again, with when they were last updated.
  • Refresh (1 credit) fetches fresh numbers again.

A post that hasn't published anywhere yet has no analytics to load. If your project is out of credits, loading fails with a message saying it needs 1 credit. See Credits & Usage.

Platforms often take a while to process engagement, so numbers loaded minutes after publishing can be low. Loading a day or more later gives a more useful picture and saves credits.
